O milagre/ The miracle

Eu fiquei mega triste, decepcionada,...
...chorei, me culpei e orei.

Chegamos e começamos a procurar.

Milagres acontecem!
(E seu problema nunca é  pequeno demais pra Deus!)

(Abaixo a alegria de achar o cartão. Ele estava perto daquela árvore grande bem no fundo da foto.)
(Below the happiness of the moment. The card were near that big tree way back in the photo.)

I've always been kind of crazy when it comes to memory cards.

I've heard so many histories of lost, stolen, damage cards that long ago I've decided to use more than one card in every photoshoot.

I try to be super carefull taking the cards out the camera and storaging them, till I have copied them to a physical and online backup.
My worst fear was to lose photos!

In a nice Friday I had a photoshoot with a beautiful family. I used 4 memory cards.

When the session was over I counted the cards, put them inside my special place for them and left to a weekend vacation with my family.

We got to the hotel at 11p.m. and before anything else I decided to download the photos to my computer.
I grabbed the cards and for my panic there were only 3.

I intensively searched inside my camera bag and then all other bags 'cause maybe the card wanted to hide in another place! :(
My husband searched the car...
No sucess! :(

I had enough  photos to show the family, but not all the photos...

It made me super sad and frustrated. I cried, blamed myself and prayed.

I couldn't  go back to the park to try to find it because we were more than 3 hours away and it were our little vacation.

My dear husband watching my frustration suggest going back to the park when we returned home. (Sunday).

The next 2 days I imagined someone stepping on it, raining, a bird taking it to its nest, someone finding and posting it on line, and so on, but I agreed with him.

Sunday we left earlier to still have some light when we get to the park.

When we got to the park I was kind of lacking faith. I started searching for the card but I couldn't see anything, but my daughter look down near a bench and with her little hand she reached something and shouted; " I found it, mom!!!"

Miracles happens!
(And your problem is never to small for God!)

And the photos you know see here have become even more special to me!
